What class could you teach?

For a moment, put yourself back in your first semester of college. It’s registration day and you’re scrambling for an interesting Spring elective. An entry catches your attention, and you stop and think, “Huh. I wonder what that’s all about.”

Little did you know, you were about to find out.

In the years since college, you’ve been constantly learning from your life experiences—some that you’ve sought out and some you didn’t.  All the time, you were (and are still) building expertise in things you never knew existed or were problems to be solved.

Nevertheless, here you are: An expert.

So now, imagine you’re the professor. It’s your class. What could you teach young you?

Don’t say "nothing." There’s something you’re uniquely qualified to teach and it’s incredibly valuable.

Maybe it’s your combination of skills and abilities (also known as your talent stack.)

Maybe it’s something super specific that’s become your go-to strategy under pressure.

So, what exactly are you an expert in?

Make a list.

You have experience in dozens of things that not only younger you would find useful but other real-life people right now would too. That’s something to celebrate—and maybe even share - today.
